Looking for inspiration for your Pirate Party; why not try a few of these pirate tips Make your own Pirate Invitations: Burn the edges of an A4 sheet of paper to make it look like an old pirate's treasure map, write the invitation details on it, scroll it and tie a piece of red ribbon around it and place it in a plastic bottle. You can add if you wish some sand and perhaps some sea shells if you have any. Leave the a piece of the ribbon hanging out of the bottle so the child can easily pull the invite out of the bottle. Let your child give them out to their friends. Just watch the little pirate's faces light up! Different Party Bag Ideas: While the children are at the party let them participate in making one of their going home pirate presents from a 260q balloon. Click here to see how to make pirate cutlass. Alternatively you could purchase some balloon sticks, inflate pirate balloons and attach them to a stick. great fun and kid's love them. Pirate Games: How about "Walk the Plank" There are 3 ways to do this depending on your pirates' ages. You can place a scaffold board or piece of board on stacked bricks or books over a kiddies paddling pool, place a pirate balloon between their legs and see if they can manage to walk the plank. To make it more difficult you can blindfold them. Alternatively if they are young don't use a paddling pool, have the plank of wood indoors on perhaps one book. either way your little pirates will love it. Pirate Balloon Party Game: Make an assault course using chairs, small tables, and any other props that come to mind and divide your pirates into two pirate teams. Give each pirate team an inflated latex pirate balloon each and a broom. The idea is for each team member to bash the balloon around the course and return back to their base. The team that manages not to burst the balloon and has all pirate team members back wins. Give out gold chocolate coins as the pirate prize. |
